On October 5th, 2024, popular K-pop boy group ENHYPEN launched their third world tour WALK THE LINE, which recently ended on October 26th, 2025. During the tour, ENHYPEN held six concerts in four U.S. states, with two concerts being in Belmont Park, New York, in UBS Arena from August 6 and 7, 2025. I had the opportunity to attend their August 6th concert, which was the first night of the U.S. leg of the WALK THE LINE Tour. I enjoyed it better than the Fate Plus Tour in Belmont Park, NY, which was ENHYPEN’s previous world tour that I attended last year, so I personally rate the concert 10/10.
For the first day of ENHYPEN’s New York concert, I arrived at UBS Arena at 1:00 P.M., took pictures, and waited in the merch line. I waited in line for 30 minutes and bought a Jungwon image picket and the tour zip-up hoodie. The picket was reasonably priced at $16, but the zip-up hoodie was overpriced at $110. By comparison, when I attended ENHYPEN’s Fate Plus concert, the merch seemed much more fairly priced overall. After waiting in line for over an hour, I bought a group image picket, an album, and a tour t-shirt. While I felt like everything from Fate Plus wasn’t overpriced, I didn’t like how the Walk The Line zip-up hoodie didn’t come with photocards, while the Fate Plus zip-up hoodie did, and it was $10 cheaper.
There were many complaints about the merch from people who attended the tour, with Niyah Basit, a freshman at Townsend Harris High School, saying “The only thing I thought needed to be improved was the merch prices and designs. I wish they were more creative because it was extremely lackluster compared to the lineup of merch they had in previous years.” Deanna Maleki, a junior who also attended the tour and complained about the merchandise, mentioned, “I think that there should have been more organization relating to merch and stuff since there was so little merch to begin with and it was all so disorganized.”
UBS Arena had tons of activities for Engenes (ENHYPEN fans) to do while waiting for the concert. There was a “CAMP ENGENE” at the venue’s park ready for fans, where they could make friendship bracelets and fan banners, take pictures and videos with the 360 camera, do a dance relay, play lawn games, and a bunch of other fascinating activities. What I really enjoyed was the chalk art scattered around the arena’s plaza; I saw a lot of Engenes write, “I love ENHYPEN” and more, which amused and highlighted my day. I also appreciate how the camp and chalk art were available for other concerts held in UBS Arena, showing how the organizers cared about the fans attending. Furthermore, while fans waited for ENHYPEN, a lot of them passed out freebies to one another, as freebies are a K-pop fan tradition whenever there’s a concert. Freshman Elise Maia Yu said, “Out of all the concerts I’ve been to, this has been my favorite because I got so many freebies from the Engenes!”
When the doors opened for about 20,000 fans to flood into the arena, my heart was pounding as if I were the one performing. I felt extremely proud of the seven performers I have been watching ever since I was 10 years old, watching the Tamed-Dashed music video. Entering UBS Arena for the 2nd time to see ENHYPEN made me feel so fulfilled, because it has always been my dream to attend their concerts. Taking pictures at the Walk The Line themed photobooth was unforgettable, and I’m glad I’ve filled my bedroom with memories from the best day of my life.
An hour before the concert started, a lot of ENHYPEN’s music videos were projected on the big screens. The crowd went crazy whenever the members would appear.
At exactly 7:30 P.M., the lights suddenly turned off, and a roar of Engenes screaming blasted through my ears. They opened with “Brought The Heat Back,” and this was one of the best choices ENHYPEN made– the crowd was instantly hyped. Quite a few Engenes were disappointed that some fan favorites didn’t make the setlist, but ENHYPEN can’t play their whole discography in one night. I appreciate how ENHYPEN played approximately 20 songs that night, but I wish the setlist included their song “Daydream” from the album Romance: Untold -daydream- as the song really fits the vibe of the Walk The Line tour well.
The members’ multiple outfit changes and their interactions with the crowd were among the concert’s many memorable moments. All of the 7 members looked very vampire-like thanks to their wonderful stylists, and because of them, the members received positive reactions from the crowd. Moreover, ENHYPEN interacting with many Engenes was lovely, though most of these went to VIP ticketholders. Some were even said to be scripted, but people still loved the concert nonetheless. There was this one part where Jungwon got the fans to wave their lightsticks at all the shows, and that was truly a delightful addition to the tour. Jungwon also sang a part of “Rock That Body” by the Black Eyed Peas for most of the tour dates, which was a very cute touch. The biggest and my favorite part of the tour was when ENHYPEN performed “Moonstruck.” Niyah Basit agreed with me and stated, “I was so happy when they played ‘Moonstruck’ though, it literally felt like I went to heaven and back hearing that song live.”
A fan favorite of the concert was during the encore. For New York day 1, ENHYPEN performed “Shout Out” and “Paranormal” for the encore, while New York day 2 heard “Helium,” “Paranormal,” and “Go Big Or Go Home.” Sadly, I wasn’t there to hear “Helium” live, even though it is one of my favorite ENHYPEN songs.
- “My favorite part was probably when I got to see them on the big screen for the first time. It was just so surreal after watching them on my laptop and all their content for so long that they’re literally actual human beings.” – Deanna Maleki.
- “I wish [the concert] was longer because time flew by so quickly that I couldn’t keep track. Every moment was fun and exciting, and I didn’t want it to end. The production value, the energy of the performers, and songs made [the ticket prices] worth every penny.” – Elise Maia Yu.
- “The best thing about ENHYPEN concerts is definitely the fashion style Engene’s have because it’s so fun seeing all the different inspirations and creative things people come up with for the concert! I also love the concept of freebies, and it’s so fun [to feel] a sense of community before, after, and during the concert. – Niyah Basit.
Overall, seeing ENHYPEN was truly a memorable experience, and it got me moonstruck. It was my third time seeing ENHYPEN through their Walk The Line tour, and I wish I could relive August 6th, 2025, forever. I respect ENHYPEN as artists, and I know that it took them months to prepare their whole world tour. I’m excited to see them again, and I can’t wait to see what their next tour will look like!
